Today:

- In Math we we learned about equality. We got to explore with the balance scales! 

- In Writing we wrote our draft copy of our acrostic poem. Ask me what I wrote!

- In Social Studies we learned about alliances and treaties!

- Ask me what we did in P.E!

- We have read 3 class novels this year! We started our new read aloud called "A Wolf Called Wander" 

- We began our Human Sexuality unit today:

If your child is participating, we encourage you to ask them about what they learned and how the lesson went. This can be a great opportunity to continue open, supportive conversations at home.
If your child is not participating, please consider using the resource below to help guide for age-appropriate conversations about puberty at home. These discussions can support your child’s understanding and help them feel more comfortable as they grow and develop.

April 24 – Non-Instruction Day – No school for students

 Today: - Ask me what we did in literacy stations! - In math we did a review on comparing and ordering decimals! - Ask me what we did in P.E! - We did a guided drawing of a haunted house. Then tomorrow we will write about it! Reminders: - School pictures were sent home :)

 Today: - We continued working on our self portraits! - We did some outdoor activities. Ask me what we did!  - We read the Name Jar and talked about the significance of our names! - We did a sharing circle and shared 2 positive things that happened during the week. Ask me what I shared! - We had our first music class today. Ask me what we did!
