Thursday February 26

Today:

- In Science we learned about constellations and we got to create our own constellation!

Here is a cool website to explore constellations:

https://stellarium-web.org/

- In Math we continued practicing division questions. Please practice the questions below!

- Today was our last day to finish our story vines!

- Mr. Newton was not here today, so Ms. Wolsey taught our P.E class!

- We continued our learning about Black History Month. We had a really thoughtful discussion about how everyone deserves to be treated equally and how we can show respect and kindness to everyone. We also talked about celebrating our differences and learning from one another. Ask me what I learned!

Reminders:

Dear Grade 4 Families,

We are excited to share that our class will be heading to Vivo for Healthier Generations for a half-day field trip focused on active living and wellness on Wednesday, April 29th from 12:15-3:30

Students will participate in instructor-led Zumba and Kickboxing sessions led by certified fitness instructors. These high-energy, age-appropriate classes promote fitness, coordination, confidence, and teamwork in a fun and supportive environment.
We are especially excited for students to take part in a community-based program that promotes wellness and physical activity. This experience supports our commitment to healthy, active lifestyles while helping students connect with local community resources that encourage lifelong fitness habits.
We are looking for volunteers who have a current security clearance to join us and help ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all students. Your support would be greatly appreciated!

More details about the trip, including times and what students will need to bring, will be shared closer to the date.

If you have a current security clearance, and you are available to volunteer, please let us know by replying to this email.

Thank you so much for your continued support!
