Today:

- In P.E we practiced shooting, passing and dribbling in basketball!

- In Writing we continued to work on making text to self, text to text, and text to world connections. Ask me what story we read!

- In Math we did review for our SWYK on Thursday. Please practice the questions below at home!

- Ask me what we did in Chromebooks!

- In Social we talked about the difference between rules and laws. Then we had to answer questions! 

- Ask me what we did in Music!


Reminders:

Today our class had difficulties following lunchroom expectations. Since we were not following expectations (not listening to our lunchroom supervisor, shouting) we lost Chromebook time today. Please continue to have conversations at home about following class expectations.

January 22 – Mr. Pretzel Treat Day / Opa Fun Lunch Day (order at healthyhunger.ca before January 17 if participating)

January 30 – No classes (Non-Instruction Day)

February 4 – Winter Walk Day (Classes will share details of what they are doing for this day closer to the date)

February 11 – SPIRIT DAY: Pink or Red Day

February 11 – Popcorn Fundraiser delivery (Orders can be placed at healthyhunger.ca up to February 7)

February 12 and 13 – NO SCHOOL – Teachers’ Convention

February 16 – NO SCHOOL – Family Day

FEBRUARY 24 - Online Report Cards 

Report cards will not be available in January this year. The CBE has set the date of February 24 for the first report card. In February, we will remind families to look in their MyCBE account for the term one report card, and to download it so that it is saved for the future.



We are having our factors, multiples, prime, composite SWYK on Thursday. Please do this review at home:

 Today: - We continued working on our self portraits! - We did some outdoor activities. Ask me what we did!  - We read the Name Jar and talked about the significance of our names! - We did a sharing circle and shared 2 positive things that happened during the week.
