Today:

- In writing we continued to practice making connections (text to self, text to text, text to world) by reading the story "A Bad Seed." Ask me what connections I made!

- In Math we learned how to find the greatest common factor of 2 numbers. See below for practice you can do at home! 

- Ask me what literacy station I was in!

- We had a practice lockdown drill. Our class did a fantastic job! 

- Ms. Wolsey had to give frequent reminders today regarding staying on task, not talking, and not distracting others. We had difficulty following expected behaviour, so our class needed to have a few resets today. Please have a conversation at home about following classroom expectations.

February 11 – Popcorn Fundraiser delivery (Orders can be placed at healthyhunger.ca up to February 7)

February 12 and 13 – NO SCHOOL – Teachers’ Convention

February 16 – NO SCHOOL – Family Day

FEBRUARY 24 - Online Report Cards 

Report cards will not be available in January this year. The CBE has set the date of February 24 for the first report card. In February, we will remind families to look in their MyCBE account for the term one report card, and to download it so that it is saved for the future.

We are having our Math Factors, Multiples, Prime and Composite SWYK on Thursday. Please practice the questions below. Also ask me to answer these questions: 

- What is a multiple? 

Write the first 5 multiples for these numbers:

 Today: - We continued working on our self portraits! - We did some outdoor activities. Ask me what we did!  - We read the Name Jar and talked about the significance of our names! - We did a sharing circle and shared 2 positive things that happened during the week. Ask me what I shared! - We had our first music class today. Ask me what we did!
