Tuesday December 2

Today: 

- We had chrome books today. We practiced our writing skills and then we chose pictures for the postcards we are creating!

- In Math we did a subtraction check in. Ask me how felt about it!

- In Science we continued learning about static electricity. Ask me what I learned!

- In Writing we wrote our opinion paragraph about our favorite destination. Ask me what I wrote!

- In P.E we continued our skipping unit!

DECEMBER’S “WEDNESDAY FESTIVE WINTER WEAR DAYS”

Christmas Sweater, Christmas, Ugly Sweater Day, Xmas, Spirit Day, Holiday Sweater

Each Wednesday this December, we will have three ‘Wednesday Festive Winter Wear’ Spirit Days.  Students are invited to wear festive sweaters, t-shirts, hats, headbands, socks, etc.  Anything festive that they would like to wear on that day is great. (This is optional.)

DRESS FOR THE SNOWY WEATHER NEXT WEEK

Students are outside in the snow a lot during the day. Please help them leave home with snow pants, snow boots, mittens or gloves, hats and a warm coat. It makes outdoor learning and outdoor play much more enjoyable. 

Packing extra mittens and extra socks in the backpack is also helpful in case they get wet during the day.

 Today: - We continued working on our self portraits! - We did some outdoor activities. Ask me what we did!  - We read the Name Jar and talked about the significance of our names! - We did a sharing circle and shared 2 positive things that happened during the week. Ask me what I shared! - We had our first music class today. Ask me what we did! Reminders: - If you want your child to be on the blog, please give permission on your cbe account  - Please find the form that was sent home today.
