CHANGE OF SCHOOL DESIGNATION FOR CARRINGTON FAMILIES FOR THE 2026-2027 SCHOOL YEAR
Carrington families received an email from the Calgary Board of Education on Thursday, December 4 regarding a school designation change for the 2026-2027 school year. We ask all Carrington families to refer to this email or visit the news story at https://northernlights.cbe.ab.ca/news/school-designation-changes-for-carrington-20251204212451 for important information.
DECEMBER’S “WEDNESDAY FESTIVE WINTER WEAR DAYS”
Each Wednesday this December, we will have ‘Wednesday Festive Winter Wear Days’. Students are invited to wear festive sweaters, t-shirts, hats, headbands, socks, etc. Anything festive that they would like to wear on that day is great. (This is optional.)
EXTRA MITTENS, GLOVES AND SOCKS
Students are outside in the snow a lot during the day. In addition to the outdoor clothing that we ask they arrive at school at each day (including snow pants, snow boots, mittens or gloves, hats and a warm coat), please pack extra mittens, gloves and socks in the backpack they get wet during the day.
