 Today:

- In writing we wrote our 2 stars (2 things I am feeling confident about this year) and 1 wish (1 thing I want to improve on) Ask me what they are! We also made our plan for our persuasive writing paragraph about our favorite celebration! 

- In math we continued working on subtraction. We learned a new game!

- We tested magnets in science today!

- Ask me what literacy station I was in!

- In P.E we played soccer!

November 27 – Kinder to Grade Five – Evening Parent / Teacher / Student Learning Conferences

November 28 – Kinder to Grade Five – Daytime Parent / Teacher / Student Learning Conferences (No school for K-5)

HAVE YOU BOOKED YOUR PARENT/TEACHER/STUDENT LEARNING CONFERENCE YET?

Only 35% of our families have booked a Parent/Teacher Conference this coming week. We ask that all families book a 15-minute slot with the homeroom teacher during the available times. All bookings will be done through your parent MyCBE account at sis.cbe.ab.ca.

Conferences times that you can book your 15-minute slot are as follows:

Friday, November 21 – 9:15 – 1:15 (for Kindergarten only)

Thursday, November 27 from 4:30 – 7:45 (for Kindergarten to Grade Five)

Friday, November 28 from 9:15 – 2:00 (for Kindergarten to Grade Five)

 Today: - We continued working on our self portraits! - We did some outdoor activities. Ask me what we did!  - We read the Name Jar and talked about the significance of our names! - We did a sharing circle and shared 2 positive things that happened during the week. Ask me what I shared! - We had our first music class today. Ask me what we did!  Today: - Ask me what we did in literacy stations! - In math we did a review on comparing and ordering decimals! - Ask me what we did in P.E! - We did a guided drawing of a haunted house. Then tomorrow we will write about it! Reminders: - School pictures were sent home :)
